IPA - New England / Hazy

Lovers & Dreamers was brewed for both the OG craft beer lovers and the new school dreamers. It unites the classic Pacific Northwest hop Centennial (bred in 1974 by horticultural pioneers Chuck Zimmerman and S. T. Kenny, though not released commercially until 1990) with the Southern Hemisphere’s tropically eruptive Galaxy (unleashed by Hop Products of Australia in 2009). Two game-changing varietals — one citrusy, floral, and lightly piney; the other brashly saturated with notes of passion fruit, pineapple, and peach. Combined with kettle and whirlpool additions of secret Citra (the almighty cultivar we’ve long loved and dreamt about), they meet in the dry-hop to showcase the best of both worlds.

In grist construction, Lovers & Dreamers completes an amorous trilogy. Like Mi Corazón and Kingdom Half Mine, this 6.5% IPA is brewed with Bestmalz pilsner malt, plus a hefty charge of flaked and malted oats. It’s soft and juicy, yet balanced by grapefruit and subtle pine.
