Wheatland Spring Waldnaab

Waldnaab is a Bernstein, or amber, lager we offer as homage to some of the earliest lagerbiers stored in cellars and Bavarian mountain sides. It presents whole grain biscuit on the nose and a fulsome, toasty bread crust on the palate. A gentle touch of noble hops balance the layered malt sweetness coming from a selection of specialty craft malts from our region, the Piedmont. This creates a full bodied, flavorful lager without the heft. There’s enough depth of flavor going on to make it thoroughly enjoyable each time you raise your glass, while highly drinkable so you’ll want to come back for another. Just like we remember.
