Commonwealth Bourbon Barrel Aged Chinchilla

We’ve always loved Chinchilla as a clean, classic stout so naturally, we had to see what it could become with time in barrels. This blend pulls from 18-month, 2-year, and 3-year barrels, featuring stout aged in Wilderness Trail and Willett, along with a touch of well hidden 3-year rum barrels. We conditioned the entire blend on a financially irresponsible amount of hazelnuts, then rounded it out with ethically sourced cacao nibs and Tahitian vanilla beans. The result is a rich, layered stout with deep barrel character and a decadent, dessert-like finish.
