Commonwealth Falstaff

Falstaff is back and better than ever. We went heavy on English caramel and crystal malts to give it a full body and achieve those classic malty notes we were aiming for. Right up front, you get a subtle sweetness balanced by a touch of roastiness, complemented by chocolate and a generous amount of caramel notes. We used my favorite English yeast strain, which we previously showcased in Northumbria. It contributes stone fruit and nutty esters while allowing the malt flavors to take center stage rather than fade into the background. Falstaff is incredibly balanced and approachable, making it a great choice for anyone unfamiliar with this style and looking to try something dark this season.
