Maui’s Hook is our newest single IPA, coming in at 5.5%. We were lucky enough to be among the first in the region to get our hands on an experimental Freestyle Hops variety from New Zealand called Lilikoi ,the Hawaiian word for passionfruit. Lilikoi brings exactly what its name promises: vibrant passionfruit character with a bright citrus hit. We paired it with Citra to amplify the citrus aromas, layering in additional notes of tropical fruit and fresh zest. The result is a super crushable IPA with a soft, pale base color, a touch of haze, and a bright, expressive hop profile that drinks way above its ABV.
