A west coast-style double india pale ale hopped with mckenzie, strata and vista
A dual collaborative effort, we amped up our standard west coast crusher in coordination with our main man Jason Glunt of @saludcerveceria of Charlotte, North Carolina. Mashed with our standard base of local two row pilsner malt along with a dash of dextrin malt and flaked oats for a sturdy bod. Intensely hopped in the brewhouse and fermenter with a blend of mckenzie, strata and vista. Fermented with our preferred and classic house westy yeast strain for maximum dryness and ultimate crushability.
With a backbone boasting firm assertive bitterness and full hop saturation, this clear and crushy dubby west coasty has us smitten with the hop blend. Showcasing big notes of pink lemonade, grapefruit marm and candied pear with an assertive virginia pine needle presence bursting throughout.
