Our Festbier salutes the legendary Lola Montez: Irish adventurer, dancer, actress, and 19th-century chaos engine. She seduced King Ludwig I of Bavaria — his royal wedding kicked off the first Oktoberfest — then scandalized Europe with her infamous “Spider Dance,” a performance one outraged newspaper called “utterly subversive to all ideas of public morality.” We can’t promise this beer will corrupt your soul… but history suggests it’s a possibility.
